What is Guidezilla?
Guidezilla is a public website that allows you to post your own events or browse for events in your area. Using Guidezilla is free for both purposes! | | Back to Top |
Who will see my events?
Your event details will be available to all visitors of the Guidezilla website.
Over the coming months, Guidezilla will be prominently advertised in many leading newspapers. Your event may be featured in these advertisements. We will select which events will be printed, and the author of the event will not be charged for the extra publicity. | | Back to Top |
Can I publish my events on other websites?
Absolutely! We encourage you to do so. We have designed some tools to assist you in "pushing" your Guidezilla events calendar to your own website. One way to re-publish your events calendar is to cut and paste the javascript link listed on your My Account page. The second way is a little more technical, but if you know what RSS is [it stands for Really Simple Syndication], and how to use it, then you can publish your events to your own website using the RSS 2.0 link, also provided on your My Account page.
NOTE for a reasonable one-time fee, we will customize the RSS feed to look similar to your existing website's calendar. Please contact us if you need assistance customizing your RSS feed.

How can I share my event details with friends, family, etc?
All registered Guidezilla users are given a special URL that can be shared with others. Again, you will find more information on your My Account page. You can also click the Tell a Friend About this Event! link found on every event detail page, in case you come across an event that you think someone you know would be interested in. | | Back to Top | | |
